Got a 93 with 351W. Need to switch out plugs and wires. Recommendations? Running Bassani Short headers now but need to replace them because one is cracked. Stick with the same thing?

It has a super charger, Edelbrock Cylinder heads, Edelbrock 3881 Manifolds, Speed-Pro Power forged Pistons. Anything else that you need to know let me know. Picture attached.

Yo Treg,

Welcome.

I use Motorcraft plugs and wires. Some like Motoraft 9 mm wires and looms.

Check distributor cap and rotor.

Again, Motorcraft parts are recommended.

Routing, use decal atop radiator support.

Welcome to the Zone !!  That's a pretty unusual Bronco.  Not many people try to convert a 5000 pound brick into a dragster :D/ I would stick with the same parts and cable routing that presently exists.  The person that did it probably had a good idea how to keep those plug wires away from the headers.  If you check out picture #13 of the supermotors link Al gave you, you will see that the second plug is very close to the header and exposed to melting the wire.  If that exists on your truck, how is it protected from the red hot headers?  It looks like the header would need heat insulation wrap or a different plug connector.

How about posting some pictures of that and how things are oriented on the engine.

:)>-

Thanks guys, I agree if I had to do it I would not add all that but could not pass up the deal I got on it so bought it. It is the first vehicle I have own that has headers and a super charger so this is all new to me. I understand what you are saying by the wires close to the headers. They look like they are far enough away but I could add insulation if that would be good to do. Plug #2 on the driver side is arcing and that's the cylinder that is not working I assume because there is oil. Here are 4 pictures, 3 on the driver side and one on the passenger side. If you need any more pics let me know and thank you for your help. I just want this baby in good shape before the snow falls.

Hey Treg - checking back on this to see what headers you ended up going with. Also curious which Edelbrock heads you're running? Looking to go in with Eddy 3881 u/l and heads.
