Gas tank swap???'s

Wonder if this would work? I pulled both tanks off the 88 F-350 this weekend ,and the rear tank is like 13-15 gallons? It's low profile and flat, and i though maybe it would be a good replacement for the 32-gal rock under the 78 Bronco to give me some ground clearnace. How hard would this be to convert an EFI tank to a mechanical/ electric pump? JSM84

all the EFI tanks that i have converted to mechanical/electric pump for carb we simply take the intake pump out and run a piece of hose down to make it equal length of what the unit was with pump and screen on it...never had any problems

On the tanks I have converted I had some 3/8 stainless tubing and ran it down to the bottom worked well . /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

so to do this in my 89 what truck do i need? id really really love to get rid of the sickly big tank, only question i have is, the sending unit goes all the way down to the bottom, so i dont dee how that will drop into a shallower tanka nd still function, also id be staying fuel injected, might be too hard to do

I could trade tanks with you....i got like a 15ish gallon tank....and id like a lager one....
