gas tank change/question ?

Hello,looking to change motor out and I wont need the electric fuel pump that is in tank. do I just change out pump or still use it .my motor will have a mechanical pump on block

Hey Willy,

I'm going to assume you are switching to a carb engine.  I would keep the electric pump, but you need an adjustable regulator with a return to use the return line to the tank. (max about 7-9psi)

You can put a plate on the block to cover the hole for the mechanical pump.

The FI is more efficient, why the switch if I may ask.

well commander. I have a great running 302 efi  in it .but I also have a 1972 351 Cleveland that I want to hop up just I little more show that's all and thanks for your response on feul pump
