Yep, I found a good little 99 ****** 5 speed for my daily driver so I don't go broke on gas with the Bronco! My wife thinks I should sale the Bronco now so if ANYONE has a suggestion on what to say so she'll leave me alone about it would be great! Thanks!!!

If you can get a 4 day pass, or a few days of leave, take her on a long road trip to visit family (preferably someone who lives at least 8 hours away) in the ******. That should do the trick. If she's anything like my wife, she will need to bring a LOT of stuff, plus you will need all the things for your son. About a year ago, my wife and I went on a trip to Kentucky from Central Texas. Since it was going to be a short stay and there would be no oportunity for to go wheeling, we took the Cavalier to save gas. (33 mpg on the highway) Spending 14 hours one way in a small car with 2 dogs and a lot of luggage convinced my wife that the Bronco is the only way to travel, regardless of gas milage.

WOW Roadkill great advice! Wish I'd thought of that instead of just buying women a house & moving on with my toys.

I had that exact car, 99 ****** 5 speed 4 door. Thats what I traded for my Expedition. I drove to Edmonton, about 4.5 hours on $15.00 gas. Bought the Expedition and spent 55 to get back home. We went on a family trip, Myself my wife 2 kids and my Rottweiler, 17 hour drive to my home town. Stayed a couple weeks and drove back. That was quite the trip. The back seat is a 60/40 split, had both kids on the 60 side and kept the 40 side open into the trunk for the dog. We stayed with my inlaws, my father inlaw and I built a small utility trailer while we were there to haul all our junk back, mostly my new Bronco Tailgate. Small car but fun to drive, like a little go cart
