Fuel Pump

is the fuel pump on the block if so wich side or is it in the gas tank?

judging from your other posts, i am assuming that you are talking about the 80 with the 351. the fuel pump is on the lower right hand side in the front of the block. it is a mechanical diaphram type. does it not work? they will break. if you get a new one, be shure not to pump it with your hand. this will damage it because there is no fuel in it.

it on a 302 are they the same?

you need to be more specific when you ask questions if you expect good awnsers. EFI or carb. what year. 302, 351 or 300. it all matters.
