Does your check engine light come on?

Try this. Turn your key on, count to three, and then try to start it. Let us know if that helps.

Here is a short tutorial I wrote that will teach you how to pull codes.

The tutorial starts at post #4

All you need is a little 4 inch piece of wire and the ability to count to ten.

http://broncozone.com/forums/index.php?s=&...ost&p=74581

The only problem with pulling codes and then fixing your truck is that you will probably loose the ability to brag about only getting 6-7 MPG.

Can you open an adobe acrobat pdf file?

If so, within the codes page you read in post number 12 there is a link to a manual for the actron code reader. There are many pages of codes in there.

http://broncozone.com/forums/index.php?act...ost&id=6792

Sometimes the discriptions of the meanings of the codes are a little different from one source or another.

Another source is www.fordfuelinjection.com

Yet another is miesk5's page

http://www.broncolinks.com/index.php?index=23

The first step is to get your codes.

Second would be to look them up at one or more of the sources listed above, and third let us know what you discovered, especially if the answer is not clear.

good luck

joe
