Front Disc brake conversion problems

I bought a front disc brake conversion kit from JBG. I also bought new warn hublocks. We have installed to the point of putting the hublocks on and we cannot get the retaining ring on. I have tried to pry the shaft out at the joint per the instructions, it is out as far as it can go. I am still about 3/16 of an inch from the getting the retaining ring on. Any suggestions? thanks in advance.

If you are talking about the axle stub shaft snap ring, it will not reach anymore. We all run without them with no problems. I think its actually better because the axle will not have so much tension and alows the u-joint more play. The outer hub ring should fit no problem. Thats what holds the works in. You should be good to go.

You can also put a bolt & washer onto the end of the axle and it will work fine. That is what I had to do cause I couldn't get the outer snap ring on at all. Just another innovative EB solution /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
