Friend in need with a 46 Ford 6GC 1/2 ton pickup

Well i figured that this is the best place with the best group of folks to try to help out a good family friend.

He has a 46 Ford 1/2 Ton 6GC pickup and is needing a front hub in a bad way. He's not on the internet much so I spent the last 2 hours looking for one for him. There are some great places out there with new old stock but no hub. Mostly tie rods, bearings and the likes.

Any help from the zone would be greatly appreciated.

Mike- I know that LMCtruck goes back to '48, but have you tried talking to them to see if they might have the solution to your problem. I dont know that much about '40s fords, but it might be worth a shot, some parts might be interchangeable between the years.

Hi Mike.,

If you haven't already....I'd check-out some of the Antique/Hot-Rod clubs. They may be able to turn him on to a source.
