Wondering if anyone has worked with frame damage, i.e. rust in the rear. Thought I had a solution, called Matkins and Phil said he could cut me the rails I need and ship them in a week. That was about 4 weeks ago, with a call in between and another false promise it seems. Does anyone know a site that sells frame rails/pieces or if there is a comparable frame from another Ford product that I can scour the junk yards for. Thanks for any help.

Yeah, you aren't going to find another frame that is as strong as an EB frame. They are all box frames where as J**ps, trucks and the such are all c-channel frames. That is unless you cut out what you want to replace and weld in 2x4 square stock.

If you are looking for a frame I have one. It's a '76 and only has some slight damage where the bumper connects. I am using it as a doner, because of CA smog laws, for my '73. I could send pictures.

Where do you live? I'm in Long Beach, CA.
