Theres an offroad shop around here thats parting out a 78 bronco and i called and asked them how much theyd charge for the entire front axle assembly and he told me i could have it for $350. is this a good deal?

Its a good deal depending on your options, if everyone and their dog has one for sale you can get it cheaper, but if they are rare where you are then its a great price. At the wreckers here I'd have to pay $600.00, Drive 5 hours south to a big city and pay less than half.

make sure to check the condition of the axle and make sure it has EVERYTHING. 350 for an entire d44 front setup isnt bad, but if the axle is beat to **** and needs to be completely gone through and re-done, i'd lowball the guy for 275-300
