I have heard ( or read ) somewhere that there is a creature called a 351H.O.???? All I can seem to find for the F-150 and Bronco are the 351W and the 351M. From 76 to 79 they both have a VIN code of H. In 80 the 351w got a code of G and the 351M seems to have vanished?

Is there a 351H.O. and if so what did it come in? Does anyone know the VIN code????

i went to this website to get the info on my bronco no von code that i saw, ford.off-road.com

I qoute:

1984: the 351 CID V-8, ** motor was offered. This 4bbl motor put out 210 HP at 4000 RPM vs the old 351 CID V-8 which was 156 HP @ 4000 RPM It was basically a 351W with a "Mustang 5.0 **" treatment: higher compression and a Holley 4 barrel carb. 4.10/4.11 gear ratios were also available as an option, but not with limited slip.

And roller camshaft, can't leave that out
So if it has a roller setup in it, it would be a 351H.O.?????? I have checked my F150 the 84 Bronco I was supposed to get and a couple of other 80s ford tucks they all seem to have come stock with a 4barrel Holley..........I was just curious about this as it looks like the 351 out of my 150 is going into my Bronco after all. Thanks for the help. If you run into any more info please let me know.

That is correct, And the newer 351's that got the fuel injection says right on the upper intake if its a 5.8 H.O. That too is a roller engine
