Ford 9"

I have a 1979 Ford Bronco. I am putting a detroit locker in it but i am not sure on the axle spline. Does anyone know if there was a certain axle spline for this year? It is the ford 9" of course.

I'm pretty sure ALL factory Ford 9" diffs are 28 spline

Up grades are 31, & 35 spline....the more splines, the thicker the axle shaft. :-B

It's easy to pull 1 axle & count splines...to be sure someone didn't already change things.
