Fiberglass Tubs

I'd like to hear from anybody who's running a fiberglass tub. I just got my '73 in September, and wasn't planning on fixing the rusty body for a while, but an incident with a stray cow on the road kind of changed that.

I've already ordered steel fenders from the Graveyard. Will steel body parts up front and fiberglass tub throw off the weight ratio enough to ***** up handling?

How's the fiberglass hold up? What about noise? My Bronco sees lots of gravel road. Does the fiberglass quiet down the noise of sand kicking up?

I'm curious and have a quick question; is the fiberglass tub molded exactly like the original such as same size fenderwells?
