ok so about 2 weeks ago my bronco started stalling in the mornings when i would warm it up now it wont even idle in the morning, it fouled a 2 week old set of plugs, it misses really bad when it is cold and once warmed up the motor hesitates like crazy, did i mention its running very rich and using 3 times as much fuel as it usaully does, my check engine light turns on and off a lot... btw it has new: plugs, fuel filter and pump... any ideas if its a sensor or what would be greatly appreciated...thx a lot

Ahhh, Gee, Uhmmm, Well, I guess it would be helpful to know just what you were running before dispensing advise. But hey, what the ****. Most trucks this vintage have a 5.0 and if memory serves that should be 6-8 degrees. Get it in the ballpark & then fine tune it from there to eliminate any pinging & if I've cranked out a complete brain fart on this one I'm sure someone (like Bidi) will be happy to mention it.

Some quick advise, it'll help everyone else if you can add the info on your current ride to your signature so that whenever you post we know what you're talking about and can guess more accurately <grin>

If yours is injected, check the fuel pressure regulator.
