yo i am new heres my prob: own 94 bronco for past 5.5 yrs; xl, 4x4, 5 spd, 105k. recently had starter replaced & set timing (9-07). seems after engine has been running/driving for good hour or so it stalls/cuts out @red lite or sometimes when coming off a highway onto exit ramp. it can be hard to start after this happens. my mechanic had it for few days & drove it maybe for 40 min w/no prob. he thought maybe was module but wasnt sure. recent stuff done: throttle cable replaced 2-07; breather 10-06; fuel pump & ring 3-06; starter (again) 2-06; complete tune up (plugs, wires, d. cap, d. rotor @85k) 3-04. any info appreciated; really love this truck=like to keep it for awhile cause its unique compared to all the cookie cutter crap on the road.
Engine cutting out/stalling @lite or on highway.

I had similar problems years ago & it turned out to be the module. If that's what your mechanic thinks also I'd pop a new one in there and see how it does. Dunno 'bout a 94' but a module for my 78' was something like $15.

I wish, no that one got stolen & disappeared into the night. Red w/special emblems & gray leather int. Leather dash too, sweet ride until it got took. I've only lost track of two trucks, that one was stolen & the other dropped thru the ice to to bottom of Wallum Lake in Douglas Mass.
man thats a shame bout the 91 cause sure sounds sharp. hope the bronc that took the ice plunge didnt have anyone in it?

Naw, if you've ever been out on a frozen lake when the ice cracks it's like a gunshot. We probably shouldn't have drilled those holes around it to go ice-fishing thru and the bonfire was *definately* a bad idea but we camped in a cabin a hundred yards away. We heard the ice let go & then it was just gone. Took me almost 6 months to get the insurance company to pay off on it. They probably spent more verifying it was on the bottom of the lake than they paid me for it. I had 4 brand-new STUDDED 33's on it and we'd been screwing around doing power-slides and such when I sunk a rear wheel into a fishing hole. We figured we'd let if freeze overnight & drive it out in the morning. So we opened up the cooler (our first mistake) and after a few cold ones we augered a few more holes of our own to fish thru (our second mistake) and as night fell we lit a big bonfire, cooked our catch & opened the second cooler (final nails in the coffin). After emptying the other cooler we crashed in the cabin but woke up around 3am when the ice let go, we came out of the cabin & saw a large bubbling hole in the ice where the truck had been.
Losing the 91 hurt bad. It WAS a sharp truck, some kids got it and they found it a couple miles off-road stuck in a mudhole with a blown engine and just smashed to $hit, the whole nose was ruined and it had been backed *hard* into a tree or two. They ran it until it got stuck & then blew the engine, crying shame. First truck I'd ever had with a complete leather dash.

man, thats a wild story bout the lake; u probably felt real sick between losing the bronco & all the drinkin. never been on frozen lake; around here (in w. pa) have mostly rivers. our family has farm property w/river frontage but river is pretty shallow. thats pretty low what them kids did to ur 91; wasnt there some way cops (or whoever) could track them after they wrecked it since they were in the woods & had to get home some way (unless they brought another car to ride back)?
