I have a '67 bronco and am currently installing a new Centech wiring kit. I am having trouble with the blinkers and rear brake lights. When I turn on the left blinker switch, only the front blinker comes on. When I turn on the right blinker switch, the front blinkers and rear tailights flash as if the hazard switch is on. When I turn the hazard switch on, all the lights blink correctly. Also, I noticed when I press the brake pedal, the front blinkers, instrument panel lights, and brake light lights come on. When I removed the original wiring, I broke the original hazard switch, but have since replaced it with a new one. The only original wires left in the bronco are the wires coming out of the steering column. I followed the instructions included with the new wiring kit to match the colors of the existing wires to the new wires with the adapter. Any ideas or suggestions on ways to figure this out would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sure you have, but did you double check all your grounds?

Sounds like a crossed wire connection. I'd call Centech. Since they designed the harness and are familiar with what problems could be created they should be able to put you right on the problem area.

Good luck,

when things are working correctly, front, rear turn signals will come on solid.also the turn indicators on cluster when brake pedal is pushed.this is when emergency flashers are on.

I had the same symptoms a few months back. It turned out to be the turn signal switch in the steering column. When switching the contacts were so worn out they would not complete the circuit. I was able to use a jumper to jump the contacts to find the problem. But stepping on the brake pedal did not cause any issues for me. That sounds like a possible ground issue.

Just my 2 cents!
