From the color of the vacuum hose, I'd say NO it is not the EGR line. The EGR line is green. That looks to be red, if so, it is a main vacuum line. There is a vacuum diagram on your radiator support which you can follow to make the connections. It is arranged front to back just as the devices are located on the engine.

According to the 1992 EVTM (Electrical and Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual, here are the color codes used;

From the Vacuum Tree

Pink - to solenoids

Black - To Vacuum check valve for the A/C - Heater controls

Black - To C6 Transmission if that is what is installed

Red - to Distributor

Black with Yellow letters - To vacuum Brake Booster

Black / Brown - To Speed Control

Black / Yellow - To air cleaner

Hope that helps

Good luck,

:)>-

Looks like it goes to the "coffee can" on the right fender. There are three *******, two are used. A black one goes to the can also. Buy a length of rubber vacuum/washer line for Autozone, you buy it by the foot. I bought a whole roll. Spray some WD on the ****** to make it easy to slip on.
