i parked near the dog one night and it rained, so he went under the truck. the next day i go somewhereand the rear ABS light is on. get back and there are wires where the back of the truck were with teeth marks on them. QUESTION: will reconnecting them with butt-connectors cause to much resistance in the wire and keep the ABS light on, or will it work fine?

There have been a couple of times that I had to use connectors on semi's ABS sensors worked fine. Imagine it would on a bronco. I would recomend replacing up to the nearest factory plug when you can though.

Should work fine, the speed sensor works off of pulses so the minute amount of added resistance should not matter. I aint no genus tho, so I could be rong! It's definately worth a try. Just make sure you seal the connection very well. I suggest heat shink tubing for the best seal.

just wrap some electrical tape around them when you get done butting them to keep the water out ... if you got the time and tools you could soder them i think that would keep me from worrieing about them comming lose if i am wheeling hard...
