Damn these Ford Broncos

I do have to admit I am a Chevy man but bought a 93 Bronco a few months ago ,have put tons of money into it and now I'm looking at getting a 73. Why do I do this to myself I will never have any money. All I have to say is what an addiction.

Lol, I've had my 1994 Ford Bronco for about 2 Years now. And even though gas is going up, i still ain't getting rid of it. I love it, it gets put through so much ****, but it's still running. So .... Yea, man Bronco's are awesome. And there is just so much you can do to them to make them better than stock. I'm not a big fan of chevy, but just like my hitch cover on my Bronco says... " Remove To Tow Chevy "

I bought my 89 for about $3500. And I have already put $7000 into it. But it has all been worth it

Its about the love, not the money. They are very tough vehicles. Really there have not been too many commonly available vehicles that are as capable and beautiful as a Bronco. The same reason Hummers have been popular of late is that secure feeling that your vehicle will get you most places you want to be.

The styling of our beloved Bronco is pleasant to those of us who appreciate the concept. Men throughout history have waisted kingdoms for aesthetics and love, so our piddly few thousands are at least to be expected of the mere mortals we are.

Forgive yourself Bronco lover and stimulate the 'conomy!

my girlfriends boss has a bronco similar to mine. same color same size tires just a few years newer. today i was waiting for her to get off and i could not stop stareing at this guys truck. i'm sure everybody thought i was nuts because i even was looking underneath it comparing it to mine. i'm having her drive our bronco to work tomorrow just so she can park next to his and see who's looks better haha. long story short i just cant get enough bronco. every time i see one i like them more. the kicker for me is that until i was 18 i was a ********* ford hater. my father instilled that in me from birth. he was a dodge man. my exwife talked me into buying an 88 and i've been hooked since. they are a costly love but i dont smoke or drink so we all need some type of vice i guess.

Hey my Bronco fellers... I've had my Bronco for just a smidge over 3yrs and got my 4th motor getting ready to be in. Spun a piston in the first motor, overheatd the second to smoke the bearings BAD, rebuilt that one (and like an idiot did it not so good) so it's out and and me "new" one is going in when I build it *sigh*. She's NEVER left me high and dry, not even with the temp guage going WHAT THE F#@K! Now, my ramcharger I had left me high and dry on several occasions and so did my Old's custom cruiser (that thing was cool, big boat stationwagon!) But the Bronco has never left me when I needed her. Man, I can't wait to get her back up, she needed a rest though...

I'VE HAD MY 85 BRONCO FOR ABOUT 6 OR 7 YRS NOW...IT WAS ALMOST A BASKET CASE WHEN I GOT HER BUT ONCE I SAW THOSE BODY LINES AND CURVES IN THE RIGHT PLACES I JUST HAD TO HAVE HER...REBUILT THE MOTOR 4 YRS AGO...AND STILL RUNNING GREAT...HAS'NT FELL TO START EVEN ON SOME COLD MORNINGS....I LOVE MY BRONCO... Im with you bro. I paid $1700 for my Bronco and just put $3000 into it and will keep putting more into it. To top it off I got rid of a 2005 BMW 325i for her!!

To be honest im fixin mine up a little to sell it for a 70s Chevy blazer or pick up, i just something that has straight axles from the factory and leaf springs, and in my opinion chevys are WAY easier to work on and cheaper, i know some of you hate me now, i think the broncos are still alright, i just hate that TTB front end and dont wanna drop all the money in to it to swap it out. If i could find a nice early bronco id get one those are bad ass, but most of them cost waaaay to much for a nice one.

78/79 Bronco's are a dime a dozen here and most are in decent shape. I know what you mean with the TTB but it's not as bad as you may think it is. There is a kit out there to let you leave the TTB's where they are but they lengthen the beams (for lack of a better word) and the radius arms and have a "custom" set of axles for it too. It gives it some good travle up front and it's pretty neat. Pretty penny too but deffinatly worth the money if you can fork it out, I would take it over a strait axle...

Huh thats the main reason i didnt like it, i could never find any chromoly shafts for it like the regular dana 44, i also like the straight axle better because the weheel tucks in the fender better, the ifs just lets it go straight up and down, and i havent been able to find and any 78/79s out here that were in my price range with all kinds of rust, if i found one id probably get it because i think the 78s look pretty mean from the front.
