Recently I had all my radiator hoses replaced and I'm assuming my mechanic added coolant as part of this process. However, when I've driven it any sort of distance (30+ miles) I pop the hood and the coolant tank is practically dry. I have not seen any leaks. Any ideas about what the problem might be? Thank you.

mine did the same thing. i just kept adding everytime i checked and it eventually stopped. my rad. would be a few inches low too and it fill that up a bit. it finally stopped, i think its because there was air in the system trying to work its way out.

if i were you. (when its totally cold) pop off the rad cap and run the motor and keep filling it. it will keep going down and bubbling as the air is worked out. very common with radiator flushes (was required to change your hoses)

good luck
