would it be a good idea to pursue using factory coil springs for a three link setup in the rear? I have been considering fabbing up some mounts and playing with it, I am hoping to sandwich them between the axle and the frame. does anybody know how far the factory coils compress under the weight of a stock bronco? better yet, how much weight settles in the rear compared to the front (it must be considerably less) and what is the spring rate of a stock bronco spring? and how about a 1984 f-250 2wd front spring?
