I got a guy I work with who says he can get me everything I need off of an old 5.0 Mustang to put on my 351 to make it fuel injected for a couple hundred. I was wondering if any of yall had gone that route and if so how hard was it?

The intake manifold for a 351w is wider than the 302, so right off the bat you would be stuck at that snag. You will need the whole fuel system from an efi bronco, not sure if you can use everything from the mustang in that regard. Computer wise, I am also unsure if you can run the one from the mustang, the firing order is the same assuming the 5.0 is H.O. So the computer should run it, not sure how well it would run however, I would think the fuel mixture and what not would be different considering the extra displacement. Unless you really know what your doing with fuel injection this might not be something you want to tackle.

The computer from the mustang is a mass air so it would take the 351 just fine the timing curves would be for a light little car though so the driveability might be wierd :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
