so i orderd a brand new crate 302 for my bronco, all stock, just 30 over, i told them about my big tire size so they suggested a little cam, its a 460 460 lift cam, they said i may need a chip for my computer, and maybe an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, other ppl tell me it will run just fine with the stock regulator and computer, so basically the motor is going to be here in 4 days, so i need to know asap, im sure someone that reads this has done or knows someone that has done this before....let me kno..........THANK YOU

FYI, the stock fuel pressure can support up to 500 hp. what year is your rig? if its a speed density rig, the comp will probably have to be re-programmed for the new cam. if its MAF, as long as it not super agro the comp will be fine

just noticed yours is an 89. you have the speed density computer. as long as the cam isnt too far off from stock, you might be alright
