I just thought I would warn anyone thinking of buying parts from West Coast Broncos. I bought a used part (steering box) from them and when it arrived it had broken out of the box during shipment due to poor packaging or handling by UPS. They are now ignoring me and UPS will only deal with the shipper. This company has terrible customer service in my opinion. Now I have paid for a part that I don't have. Has anyone else had problems like this ordering their Bronco parts?

I have used them it the past and have had good luck. They sold me a used NP435 for $75. Since I only live an hour away I went to pick it up, so I dont know about shipping. Sorry, that sucks.

I just found out west coast broncos.com is not the same as west coast broncos physical store. I have had problems with the website in Oregon not the store in California.

I know we have all heard this from a vendor before but I have no record of you or UPS ever contacted me about this item. Did you contact me? if so what email did you use? I will always go out of my way to take care of a problem. Did you file a claim with UPS?

All other issues aside I would like to make things right. What amount did you pay for the item?

Please contact me at [email protected]

I recently purchased a power steering conversion kit (box, pump and brackets) and the extreme motor mounts from West Coast Broncos. Prices were awesome and it was shipped and packed very fast and so tight I could hardly get the boxes open. Between the staples and heavy tape it literally took a box cutter and pliers. I will definitely use them again.

Kinda hard to argue with *that* for customer service. I can't remember the last time I had a vendor track ME down to settle up when I was disappointed or upset with something I bought !

I'm glad you had a good experience with them but in my case here it is 6 months later and I am still a little lighter in the wallet and have no part!

Dewshan,

I'm a little confused here man, how about an update ? The way *I* read this thread, the guy from West Coast Broncos (Westco) posted a message here on Oct, 16th directed at YOU and while he says he hasn't heard anything from either UPS or you about the problem he wants to make things right and he specifically asked how much cash you were out because of the problem and he gave you a direct Email address to contact him with. Am I reading it wrong ?

After Westco posted on the 16th there is NO response or update from you, so what's up with it ? Did you use the contact info to speak with him or what ?

I've never bought anything from West Coast or had any dealings with them, but it *looks* to me like the guy somehow heard about your post and responded to it and since it was only his second post I figured he'd probably joined this forum specifically to help straighten out the problem you were complaining about. To ME anyways that seems like pretty decent customer service by someone who's concerned about both his customers AND his company's rep. To be perfectly honest with you I DON'T have all the facts and I don't know what the deal is. All I know is what I read right here in the thread and from THAT it seems like the guy was making an honest effort to contact you and make things right. If I'm wrong, if I misunderstand what I'm reading or if I simply lack information that's important to understanding the thread then please clue me in. All I know is what's here for me to read.

Things are in negotiation, we are on top of it. I'm closing this topic for the time being until I hear from dewshan. The topic will be updated then :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

OK, this has been satisfactorily resolved. I looks like a case of conflicting names on the net which caused some miscommunication. Westco is obviously interested in maintaining a good reputation and no matter how hard you try, situations line up to work against it. In this case it seems to have been an indifferent shipper UPS. Attached are the updates from each.

Here is what happened. He first sent me an e-mail I did not receive then tried calling but got the West Coast Broncos down south. He tried to file a claim with UPS but they told him that the shipper had to do so not him. Now the neat part, according to UPS since I sent this via a UPS store they are the shipper not me, so I was not notified by UPS.

After all the other stuff went down here I the web I was made aware of it and as you know I posted here to get a hold of him. I could not find record of a sale to anyone with his user name.

He finely made contact with me and I was able to locate his transaction under his real name. I told him that I would pay him for the loss myself . I have decided not to take it up with UPS and will use it as a lesson learned. Payment was issued yesterday via my online bill pay system. He should have it with in a few days.

I have never had a problem with a customer before ever, so I guess it was my turn. Word of advice to anyone with this problem, keep trying to get a hold of the seller. Dewey gave up after two attempts at contacting me and contacting UPS. The package did ship and the part was lost by UPS but I am the one that got the bad press. Also pay for the insurance, it is cheap compared to the hassle.

As you most likely know we do not sell parts under the West Coast Broncos.Com name any longer. In fact it is only a club. But I felt that paying him was the honorable thing to do.

please feel free to contact me if you need any further information.

Mike West
I got a check today from him. thanks for your help!
