i am interested in buying the 10"strait axle conversion from bronco graveyard for my 94 but am uneasy because i don't know what else it requires. i have tried to contact JBG but have come up unsuccesful. does any one know what else, besides the front axle and springs i have to get outside the kit. also it says that it is a stage one kt and that generally implies that there is a stage two kit out there some where but i haven't located that. and finally is this kit just thrown to gether by bronco graveyard or is there an actual manufacturer that i could contact. thank you

You can call them at 248-437-5060 or 248-486-1760, fax 248-437-9354 Or PM Admin on this forum. This is a description of the kits from the catalog:

Finally!!! A remedy for the tire eating, impossible to align Twin Traction Beam front suspension setup used on all Ford

trucks from 1980-96. This kit completely replaces the Twin Traction Beam setup with a coil spring 73-79 straight

front axle using new brackets and components. This axle conversion provides greater ground clearance, improved

ride handling and drivability, and overall better suspension performance. The kit uses any pre-1980 full size Dana 44

or you can convert a Dana 60 by installing C- bushing tabs which are available from us. This is a complete bolt on

application, with no welding required. The bracketry uses existing factory holes to simplify installation and provide a

template for drilling the 11 new holes that are required. Available for 1980-96 F-Series, & Broncos with 6”-10” of lift.

The conversion uses the IFS type coil spring with a center mounting stud that yields 2” of additional lift. For example:

If you already have a 6” lift and you purchase the 8 “ conversion you will not need to purchase new coil

springs. The Stage II kit is offered with a 6” leaf spring used in combination with a block kit to achieve the needed

amount of lift. All components must be purchased in one of the available packages.

Stage I kits.

This is the basic suspension bracket kit. The kit includes: Extended custom radius arms (relieved for larger

tires), coil support mounting blocks, drop radius arm mounting brackets, reinforced adjustable trac-bar, drop

trac-bar bracket and template, cross member, drop pitman arm, adjustable drag link, custom tie rod set,

bushings and mounting hardware.

33905 6” Conversion Kit

33910 8” Conversion Kit

$1799

$1799

Stage II kits.

The stage II kit includes everything in the Stage I kit plus all of the additional suspension components from a

traditional suspension kit. Kit includes: Front coils, rear leaf springs, block kit, brake hoses Etc... Pricing for

this kit varies according to which options are chosen.

Approximately $3000. Please call to discuss specific pricing and options available for your

application

.

Stage III kits.

The Stage III package includes everything in the Stage II kit plus a complete Dana 44 front end rebuilt to your

specifications. Obviously, pricing for this kit is based on which options you choose for your front end.

Approximately $4500+. Please call us to discuss specific pricing and options available for your

application.

33920 10” Conversion Kit $1799

You need to talk to them to before ordering any way. To my knowledge it is not just thrown together but carefully thought out by the folks at JBG. ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Good luck,

:)>-

Kinda funny this came up here. I was just reading an article in Off-Road Adventures magazine about this kind of stuff. They were leaving the TTB on and adding a Skyjacker Stage II 4" Lift. It was actually on a '96 Ranger. But everything appears to be about the same.

I like my TTB just fine and wouldnt even consider swapping it. Mainly due to the cost of a swap. But that may just be me...
