i have new everything for the brakes exept the proportioning valve, when i bleed the brakes the pedal gets hard and not spongy like its supposed to, but then when i pull out of my drivway and go down the road their areno front brakes and the pedal is soft untill it reaches the back brakes with then lock up, could this be because of the proportioning valve, if so where can i get em cheap JBG is $165 witch is to much, any help would be apreciated

Sounds likes a proportioning valve to me, however I have not found one any cheaper. You can try a local junk yard but you run the risk of buying a bad part as I am unsure whether or not you can test them outside of a working truck. Good luck

they also work at really slow speeds, and going backwards slowly, its really frustrating after i have spent so much money just on the brakes to have this happen and i cant figure it out, guess i have to go buy a proportioning valve
