alright just replaced the vacoom booster, master cylander, lines, calipers, and pads, but i can not get the front brakes to engage like the should, i see the rubber hose moving when i press the brake pedal, so it is getting some pressure but not enough, and stopping withjust the back brakes is like E-brake slidding, i did the seperate bleading of the master cylander twice just in case but still i can not get the pressure inn the pedel till it ingages the reaers, please help, thanks

This may not be of any help, but I had a similar problem that caused my back brakes to lock up over my front brakes. I misplaced my primary shoes and secondary shoes. nearly caused me to flip my vehicle.

Did you bench bleed your master cylinder? Where you set it up in a vice and pump fluid into the front and rear ports.

How about the proportion valve? Are you getting plenty of fluid flow out of it where it goes to the front brakes?

Sounds like you still need to do some bleeding to me. I would bleed the front lines using a suction pump. Have plenty of brake fluid on hand and keep the reservoirs full. Two people make it simpler, one to fill the reservoir and the other to **** out the lines.

Good luck,

:)>-

One thing that most will overlook, but some do out of habit and forget to mention...

are your rear shoes adjusted properly? If they aren't, you may not be able to properly bleed the fronts.

And maybe an obvious one, are your calipers on the correct sides? (bleeders to the top)

ruptured or damaged hoses or lines (causing leakage) - did you replace da rubber hoses?

Weak or no power assist - Insufficient vacuum volume to operate booster at maximum effy. ck vacuum

and for now, as TENN ED advised:

CAUSES for Rear Brakes Lock Up Before The Front

Not enough proportioning to the front brakes and off of the rear brakes.

REPAIR

Add an adjustable proportioning valve to the rear line to reduce the rear brakes more.

My truck did the same thing after I replaced the rear end. I had to back up at about 5 or 10 mph and slam the brakes a couple of times and then rebled the front. I believe all I did was adjust the rear brakes going backwards like that? That's what I did though...
