So I am convrting my 84 351w california emissions bronco over to a non computer controlled carb and HEI. as I am pulling out the EEC-IV box there is a relay switch that is attached to the side of it i traced the wires one goes to the starter soleniod one goes to the negative batery post one goes to a another wiring harness plug that is under the hood that my temp and oil gauge wires go to. and the last one went into the EEC. I looked at the wiring diagram and the only thing I can think of is it being the side marker relay. but with it out all my side marker lights work. any idea what this relay may be?

Thanks

OK, what you are looking at is the EEC power relay. If the wire colors are as follows, that is what it is: white with light red hash marks, Yellow, red, black with light green dashes. It can come out as well as the EEC.

Good luck,

:)>-
