Bed Liner

I was wondering if anyone has used the Dupicolor aerosol can bed liner. I am planning on putting it on the floor of my 78 bronco and around and wheel wells and bottom of the doors. Any input on the quality and durability of this stuff would be appriciated.

I know that this is an ooooolllllllllddddddddd post but I just put in the Plasticote brush in bed liner from Walmart.Its $43.00 per gallon and it worked perfect.I put 4 coats on the whole floor and the fiberglass topper and I still have between 1/4 to 1/2 gallon left.I highly recommend it for inside of a truck.It says its a bed liner but youd probably use the whole gallon on the bed just to get it really thick to withstand major abuse. /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Since this post was revisited, I used the duplicolor bed liner spray cans on my front bumper, my frame and the inside of my fenders. As for durability, the motor mount pedistals were scratched to **** from test fitting the engine in my Bronco, Noticed this when I pulled the engine back out. Works great as a tough frame paint, and bumper coating but I honestly wouldnt use it as a bedliner. I do keep a plentiful stock of it in my shop though, I like the look of it. Very fine, uniform rough surface

As I was replacing the rear quarters and other mics body parts underneath,I was spraying rubberized undercoating on everything you normally dont see,Inside the quarter area,the body and quarters themselves.Im happy with the plasticote liner for the inside floors.It seemed to dry quick,and also seems to be thick after the coats I put on it.Wasnt bad for a DIY brush on liner.I just wanted to waterproof the whole floor the resist any future rust seeing as I like to play in the mud and water,HAHA.So I guess time will tell me how it holds up... :lol:

Thanks for the input. I picked up some cans of dupicolor ($6 bucks a can isnt bad) from the local automotive a weeks ago and have been planning on doing my fenders while the bronco is sitting in the garage waiting for parts, but the weather hasn't been to cooperative. I know it says fast drying but I am worried about the temperature. It has been in the sixtys during the day but in the upper 30's to low 40's at night. I will let you guys know how it turns out after I get it done.

i put the bedline around my fenders and along the bottom of the doors this weekend. i would highly recommend dupicolor bedliner spray, it works great and is easy to use. the final texture is actually quite smooth, similar to the black vinal fenders on a jeep.
