I am the original owner of a 75 Bronco. I removed the dash to fill some holes and repaint. All gauges and accessories appear to be working correctly, but the battery discharges over night. New battery, fully charged 14.5 volts, but down to 4volts overnight. Any ideas? No problem until I removed everything so what did I do wrong? Also have no reading on gas tank gauge. Any one know the correct wiring diagram for the two way toggle switch? thanks, Richard

Sounds like you have a high resistance short. Check areas that may be rubbing on the insulation. Also, you could make yourself a simple tester from 12V light socket with leads on it and a bulb. Then disconnect the wires that attach to the + side of the battery, hook one of the tester leads to the + and the other to the wires removed, one at a time. If the Bulb lights up, that is the lead drawing on your battery. You will then have to follow it out.

Good luck,

:)>-
