This is all good stuff...!

However, may not solve your problem.

If, while on jack stands..., you can wiggle the wheel up & down...(while someone watches the knuckle for movement, & it does) Then it's due for ball joints.

The wandering may be the toe-in or improper caster.

Moog are good and so are the "Extreme Series" McQuay-Norris ball joints. You can't go wrong with either. The heim joint steering, who's system are you going to use? I put the Stone Crusher system on mine and some of the wandering went away, but I still have some because of bigger tires.

You've got it covered....

All you can do to these rigs is "caster., toe-in., & a clean tight properly functioning steering system."

A 5.5" lift Req. tuning the front end for proper steering/tracking.

A good steering stabilizer will go a long way in making it feel "tighter". It will dampen the wandering feel, so if your stabilizer shock is over 8-10 years old, replace that and see what happens. That shock gets more work than the 4 on the corners because of all the turning and up/down from the front suspension. But what I would do if you are just looking to clean it up is (and this is in the order I would do it) #1 Ball Joints, both upper & lower on both sides. It's gonna cost you around $200 for the joints alone and probably another $50-60 to have the old ones pressed out & the new ones pressed in. #2 steering stabilizer (the cost of a good shock) #3 heim joint steering (Stone Crusher cost me about $300 + s/h, but is well worth it).
