AUTO HUB SWAP ON 95

I'm switching my auto hubs to warn supremes.After pulling off the auto hubs,I got to the small retainer clip and the splined washer.My ? is are both sides supposed to have the small clip?Only the passenger side had this clip.I didn't see any chewed up metal in the hub.Also the splined washers & regular washer show a lot of wear.Is there any place other than Ford to get these parts?Ford wants $11.50 for 1 clip &33.00 for each pair of washers.I'm looking at $45 for about 8 cents worth of metal!!!!!! I'm worried about damaging the new hubs by not having everything right.Any help would be great.Thanks.
