hi guys, first post so please don't bash the newb /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />. Anyways I have this killer deal on a solid running 1990 fullsize bronco. the problem is it was in an accident and the rear body was all mashed up, so my idea is to get a f-series cab of similar vintage, and swap it out to a truck cab and a flatbed...but I don't know if this idea will work...do you guys have any input?

Hello monkey4life welcome to the zone no worries on the bashing anyone caught doing that gets the booting . What you are wanting to do is very possible . Being that the F150 and bronco share the same body parts from the doors forward they must share the same frame mounting points so from your truack cab front mounts forward it will be a bolt on where it is different is behind the doors the bronco has outer body frame mounts to mount the tub too and the truck actually has a crossmember that runs under the cab that your back two body mounts will be on . To do what you want to do you will either have to go to a bone yard and get that crossmember and bolt it to your frame or you will have to fabricate one which shouldnt be difficult as it will be lined up from the front four bolts being in . /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

heres some pics of the damage. the tailgate was bent at the spare tire attach point, and the bumper brackets were bent, as well as the obvious damage to the quarter panel. The frame is untouched!!
