95 Temperature Gauge Fluctuation

My '96 does the same thing, only a little bit lower on the guage than you describe. I assume it is normal temperature fluctuation caused when the thermostat opens and closes. All the components of my cooling system are well maintained and it has been doing it since I got the truck in 2004 so I think it's safe to say it's normal.
