I just bought an '89 bronco with a 351. This is my third bronco. The funny part is, when we tested the 4 wheel drive, we discovered that it has 2 low. The shift pattern of the t-case does not match any other Ford my boyfriend or I have ever seen. It is a straight shift pattern, starting in 2Hi, then 4Hi, Neutral, 2Low and finally 4Low. The is a notch for everything, including the 2Low. Has anyone ever heard of anything like this? I know one of my friend's had a late '70s Chevy that had 2Low but Ford?

Thanks!

here's the easiest way to tell. crawl underneath it, look at the body of the case and look for any distinguishing features, i.e. ribbing, ID tags, etc. the New Process cases had a small circular tag on the back saying what it was. its not going to be a chevy case because that would be passenger side drop and all fords are driverside drop
