88 Bronco II anti-lock brake light question

The anti-lock brake light on my 88 Bronco II 2.9L 4wd comes on after about 10 minutes of driving. Brake function isn't affected as far as I can tell. Any ideas as to the cause and how to fix it? Does it indicate a dangerous condition? Thanks.

The same thing has been happening to me for a year or more now and I havn't noticed any difference in braking. From what I'm told, the sending unit screwed into the rear is getting old and faulty and I plan to replace it sometime.
