Yes, the sending units are replaceable. But, unfortunately, there is no access panel under the carpet. :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Edit:

Sorry, I mis-understood your original question. The sending units are replaceable as an entire unit, but I don't know if you can get just the float part.

unfourtunately you'll have to drop the tank but it is not very hard and the whole job can be completed in an hour or so

you can cut the floor pan to remove the pump, sender, float;

Fuel Pump Cut-out Measurements for Fuel Pump/Sender Replacement

EDITED URL - http://www.broncolinks.com/index.php?index=1

steve has said that other's measurememnets are not exactly 100% correct; so look closely before cutting

thanks Yardape for heads-up on the bad url!

hotrod; in case you do the cut-out, you can make op an access apnel in the floor pan using whatever or if you want, I know a dude who has cut sections of scrapped Bronco pan that you can use for the panel; they are oersized in re to the cut sections so then can be hinged or bolted in place. or DIY from a yard's B in your area.
