Im in the process of buying a new car, a guy i work with told me he would sale me his bronco, its a 83 bronco with i think he said, 190 thousand miles on it. It needs minor engine work and body work. It runs fine. My dads a mechanic and friend runs a body shop so those are not factors. Im wondering if i would be better off buying it and redoing it or going on and getting a civic. I know you guys know alot more about this than i do so i figured i would see yalls opinion. Feel free to to share your thoughts and advice!

As you can see from my signature, I'm prejudice. If you want a nice truck, buy it. If you are needing an economy car get the Civic

Good luck,

:)>-

I agree with seabronc if you are looking for economy than go with the civic. but if you are looking for something that will bring you years of enjoyment go with the bronco.

Seabronc and MDDYATV pretty much got the answer covered. If you can afford it, I say get both. The Bronco can be quite expensive to get groceries in nowadays so mine stays parked most of the week. I have a 2002 Cavalier for shopping and running around town. Also, if you own a 24+ year old truck, there is sure to be a day when you will need a "parts getter" while the Bronco is disasembled in the driveway.
