[1982 bronco lifter]

i have an 1982 fullsized bronco and i tryed to get the bronco to start and it just clicks i cleaned the posts,battery connectors selonoid connections and still nothing any help is Appreciated

Did you check the distributor and make sure the wire is connected for the starter? Maybe the solenoid is bad.

Tap on the starter, if starts repace you starter.

check the spark plugs? one time my motor wouldnt turn and i checked everything but the spark plugs...ended up being the spark plugs xD

you need to trace your ignition series starting witht he switch that sounds like it's good. it got to be either distributor selenoid, or starter. let us know what you have checked. good luck

you might just wana start at the plugs and work your way back man.

try jumping the solenoid if it starts then replace it. check the wire going from the solenoid to the starter if its frayed or not getting good neough connection it COULD cause that

Since you said it clicks It sounds like the pick circuit for the starter solinoid is OK.Have you checked the battery ground connection? That is a very simple circuit, like previously mentioned it only contains a couple of components. If you have jumpered the large posts on the starter solinoid and it doesn't turn over, then it is either the cable/connections from the solinoid to the starter, the starter or the ground cable connection to the engine block. diagram included:
