I am planning on putting a 6inch lift from JBG and running 35x12.5R15's. I intend to get the ultra deluxe kit with new springs, leaf packs, ect... Are there any lessons learned to know about before I start? Anything else I need to buy...I know I will need longer shocks but what about the recommend sway bar drop links? Are those absolutely neccessary? Will the drive shaft need to be lengthened? Thanks for the help.

6" lift will require a few other items such as:

1. Drop Pitman arm.

2. Extended brake lines.

3. Lengthend drive shafts. May be able to get away without extending them, but I would recommend having them extended to be safe.

4. Forget the sway bar, most of us have removed them to get more articulation out of the axle.

5. Make sure you get new urithane bushings for the springs as the old ones (factory) are a pain to remove.

6. May as well replace all the U-Joints on the drive shafts while you have them out.

7. Extended bump stops.

8. New U-Bolts for the rear unless they are included with the kit.

9. New radius arm C-bushings (7*) unless those come with the kit and the end bushings as well.

10. You may want to install some drop straps to limit your axle travel.
