the only thing id make sure to do was get some high dollar spray clear coat thats for cars, spray a good few coats on it and buff it like crazy, just to ensure it doesnt fade and that its protected

The guy says he did his bug 6 years ago and it hasn't faded yet, I'm not even close to half way through the thread at mopar yet, but he also says if you get the gloss it buffs out great and there's no reason to clear coat it afterwards....

My poor Bronco's clear coat is flaking real bad and with the work I need to do to get the rust under control, this looks like a great option....

a guy at my marina just bought this 85 chevy pick up thats lifted 6" on 35s and he and his two 4 yaer old daughters did the same thing with a gallon of rustolium red paint and rollers, the trtucks still looks good a month later i was gunna do it to my beat up chevy pick up but then i sold it, lol
