Im having problems with getting my 79 bronco with the 205 t-case to shift into low range...

whats the route to take...to check/make sure its in low range?

it seems when i have it in 4 high or 2 high then go to low range the is no change in ratio but as far as feel in the lever it shifts into all stages and N does work as well...im at a lose here cuz it just doesnt seem to be low range at all.

You might have an internal problem in the case...Check to make sure though that the flat shift bar that comes off your shifter is locked into both shift rails coming out of the case..If they are then you might have to tear the case apart and rebuild it...

Yes they are connected, I pulled the shift lever off where it mounts to the tranny...how easy

should the rails move into and out of the case? Also any clue as what factory gears in the

third member are? 3.25 to 3.50 is all I could find in my searching is that correct?
