460 motor in a 1996 bronc

I'm turning my bronco into a show truck and I'm dumping a ton of money into it. I recently bought a for f-250 and ripped out the motor cuz that's all I cared about. It's a clean ass **** 460 and I'm planing on rebuilding it and supercharging it. the only problem is. I have a toyo koyo 5spd tranny that will not bult up to the 460. I've heard there are adapters out there but I have yet to find one. If anyone has ANY idea where to find one please let me know.

While I'm bored off my mind I'll tell you a sad story. My 96 bronco was in mint condition and I planned on keeping it that way. I have a 302 in it with about 700 dollars worth of upgrades. I'm always challenging ppl to races and I win some and lose some. (damn deisle's) any way, I was racing my buddy who has a chevy 454 in it and I was about to pass him when you for some dumb reason desided to turn left. yeah well he f(**%'d up my bronco and it was boarder line from being totalled. yeah his chev was fine but that's just because he turned into me...........and his chev is a 70's truck so it's basically a tank on wheels. I'll get some pics soon.

P.S. I need know 33's I blew out 2 of mine out in the wreck. so keep you eyes out.

Your best bet on the tranny is to find one ffrom a 429/460, so it has the correct bolt pattern to the motor. For your 96, I would look at the ZF-5 speed. Good luck, JSM84

note to self, a bronco is not a good racer. also u will need to upgrade the rear end. that 8.8 will not hold the power from a supercharged 460. **** i blew mine with my 351

tru bronco's are not racers. but I want my truck to have the balls to do what I want it too. I will sometimes go to moab but that's about it. and the 8.8 rear end will hold as long as I'm not a *******. so in my case probably about 5 minutes after I get the 460 in lol. but hey if you guys can find any ZF 5 speed trannys for a good price let me know. thanks
