if you over bore an engine block then that makes the cylinder walls very weak and you end up with a huge paperweight. if you ant more than a 514ci then you need to invest some major money into the project to buy a block big enough to handle that kind of thing.
Ya i didnt think it was possible cause if you bore an engine .80 over it makes the culinder walls pretty thin. i mean thats almost 200 cubic inches more?? i do want the biggest block for my bronco and i know 460 is the biggest. justy wonderin how big you can make it. or if theres a bigger ford block out there
the only bigger blocks I know about are merlin marine racing engines but they are built as a GM format. 700ci 800ci and 1000 ci engines that drop into the place of a 454.
haha dang not that big. just the biggest block off the FOMOCO assembly line. im guessin its the 460 than. and you can make it a 514? Im not one of those people that like to "mix breeds" like ford and chevy. or dodge and chevy that kinda stuff...
