Ah-ha..!

Now we're getting somewhere.... :D/ 4" of lift may be a clue to handling problems. @-) (all fixable)

33's may be the reason for carb. questions (auto or stick shift ?)

Big tires & 3:50 differental gearing will have you looking for more power. :((

Lower gearing in pumpkins might do more for you than the carb swap.

Carb choice depends on veh. use.... hard-core 4x4, trails, hill-climbing, road only, etc.

my bad....it's a stick shift and it will be mainly road use with the occasional weekend trail rides. so what would be your solutions for fixing the handling prob (same as your other post) while keeping the lift?

Jason,

Axle tubes on stands make the steering nice & loose...have a look with a friend.

How much $$ do you have to spend...? $-) Order-up some catalogs (Toms Br., James Duff, Wild Horses, JBG., etc. )

If manual steering, & box is sloppy, might want to consider P/S. ($600+)

If track bar isn't parallel to drag-link.... you will get "bump-steer"

Track-bar drop bracket needed.

Track-bar bushings are tested with wheels on tera ferma, eng. off, & yank the str. wheel back & forth...... if whole front of veh. moves back & forth...the bushings are bad. :-"

The other post elaborated on what I said ...so follow those suggestions as well.

4:11's are prob. OK with 33's ... 3:50's might be a bit tall.

Why are you switching carbs..? 302's aren't "barn-stormers" & isn't Florida flat..?? B)
