disagree because , uhhhh i have a 3 inch body lift and have had it for hummmmm 4 or five years now with no problems !!! and never had to extend anything the only thing i would extend but i dont have to would be the drive shaft and that because the body and suspention lift is added up to 9 inches in all and i would just get it if i just if i flex it out alot but a four inch would be pushing it but you should be ok :wacko: make sure you get alot of opinions before you take someones advice!!
you can lift it 4" without changing anything if you like your transfer case shifter being burried in the floor or your steering shaft MAXED out!or your radiator sitting 4" to high. Again I said you would have to extend things if you wanted to do it the "RIGHT, SAFE way. anyone can hack a lift in there driveway in an afternoon. It's your truck you gotta sleep with your decissions. And then theres RESALE VALUE good luck getting fair market value for a botched up lift.
Yes, your raising the body 4" higher then the frame so everything connected to the frame will need to be extended plus you will have to cut notches in the floor to allow room for the sticks to shift. as well as wiring and a host of other problems involved.
speaking from someone who actually has a body lift on his bronco and has installed them the right way , you will need to get an extended shifter for the four wheel drive and the trans , a hurst could probably do.... you will need a fan shroud either cut or made to fit cause it will rub i would go with w 3 inch lift or just get a four in suspention cause four is kind pushing it i looked at mine today its got three and i had to extend the brake lines , but if you do a suspention lift you will have to extend the drive shaft so it will probably run the same amount of money and i am trying to resurve myself and not get into anbother argument with someone who doesnt even own a 80 to 96 model bronco :-& #036;

as far as owning 80 to 96 year broncos how many have you owned or have you put all of your money into the one you have ... you need to take a step backcause i could argue with you all day but the point is there is nothing going to get done no matter how mad you get at me cause you live in AZ and i live in NC ... and thats alot of gas in a bronco .... so you can spit fire at me all day i dont care your just mad because someone challenged you and thats what this fourm is about diffrent opinions but you knew that right since you know everything and obvisoly you havent been on here long so i am going to send that PM you sent me o a mod , Never come on here tryin to act like you know so much your best bet now is to keep quiet :-& #036;

I didn t have to extend ANYTHING ..... take a bow for what being wrong you were WRONG have you ever installed a lift ???? probaby not so keep to the things you know its a 80 to 96 modle you have a what year bronco???? exactally so stick to what you know
