4v is better than 2v, right? Well, I have 351w heads that are 2v. I can get 4v off of a 1969 351w pretty cheap, "heads are bare but have been cleaned and set up for srew in studs and guide plates." Did they change the block over the years, or will they still bolt to a 1989 351w block? Is it worth it for 75 bucks? I'm thinking "**** yea!"

I believe that I have never seen a 4 valve 351W but I know that back in the day they used to put the 2V or 4V for a 2 bbl carb or 4 bbl carb. Be cautious of people that know more than you...

69 was the only year of a 4v 351 W If you can get the heads and intake you are sitting on a gold mine, either to some one that has a true 4v 351W Mustang, or some local short tracks will allow the 4v heads and they do breath better. Going prices for the heads bare around here are in the 100.00 neighborhood. Intake a buck and a quarter min

yea we still put the 4v 351c heads on 2v motors, or even the cleveland heads on a 302 or 351 W to make a make shift boss motor. The hottest stock heads are the 351C Australian heads.

But with all of the aftermarket heads out now it kinda defeats the purpose of the head swap
