1993 Explorer ignition problem

My 1993 explorer just lost ignition power. My rig ****** a couple times and quit running. emergency flashers work, inside light, headlights ok, but no dash lights what so ever. Found 60 amp ignition fuse under hood on pass-side fender blown. Replaced fuse, engine turns, but does not start. No dash lights, checked chassis ground and jumped negative BATT terminal to chassis ground. 60 amp ignition fuse blown again. Anyone expierence this please post. My Explorer is down. Need for Xmas travel. Never let me stranded in 7 years.
