My 1990 XLT has a problem with Circuit Breaker 12. It has power on both sides.

This happened when a home depot employee tried to shut my tail gate. I lost the rear window switch and my power door locks at the same time.
Seems to me that these should not be related, however. The CB 12 and 14 seem to be related and I would like to see exactly how FORD achieved this. :(

Thank you

I am still looking for the rest of the schematic, but having power on both sides is correct, that means the breaker is good, working, and in the on position.

What isn't working?

Good morning and Thank You. I am back at the Bronco problem this week. What a great response and I can't say thank you enough. I have been reading here for a number of years. I wish I would have asked a question earlier. The data that was supplied is priceless for guys like us. I will be bragging about this site and the great Bronco owners.
I will let the site know my findings.

Best Regards

I bet that the person didn't close the tailgate hard enough. Go out and open it, assuming the window is still down. Slam it shut. That should fix it. If not make a jumper wire with 3-4 inches of wire and two male spade ends. Then find the switch inside of the tailgate( in this forum there is more info in finding and jumping the switch) and install the jumper then it's almost guaranteed to work. I hope this helps.
