Hello.

i have a broken muffler and it sounds terrible. i really want to make my bronco loud and i just wanted to know if i should hack the exhaust strait pipe it or take out muffler and replace it with a pipe so that the exhaust still goes out tail pipe. i dont want the exhaust to run up in the cab. so i was just asking to see if anyone had tips or suggestions to fix this problem.

Thanks

yo,

Consider a non-stock muffler instead of the straight pipe; if you go w/pipe; get aluminized or ss pipe and ss clamps otherwise reg steel pipe will rust out clickly as stock ****** mufflers do.

I have some Sound Clip Links in my site @ http://schwimserver5.com/index.php?index=574

..

This is by Walker who made and still makes the original/replacement Bronco exhausts (as well as for almost all US Fords for many years) diagram for your year.

Consider Walker® SoundFX® Muffler 18357

100% aluminized material

Reinforced bracketed heads

Mechanical interior joints

Spun-locked heads

or the turbo, glasspack, etc.

...
